Houston Motor Club provides keys to a fleet of the most exclusive marques ever assembled, from Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Porsches to Aston Martins, Bentleys and Maseratis. Assuring that our members have access to the fleet with ample time in the vehicles of their choosing is a top priority.
By combining the club’s remarkable selection of performance vehicles with the adoption of a simple and proven point system, we are able to balance the process of reserving vehicles and maintaining availability that comfortably suits the needs of our members.
Use of the vehicles is managed through a point system where members are allocated points each year, and the points are then used to secure time in the club’s supercars. The number of points required to reserve a vehicle is contingent upon three factors; the vehicle tier, the season, and the day of the week.
- Tier: The vehicle tier is determined by grouping the cars into one of three categories based upon cost and exclusivity. Each tier has a corresponding point value, with Tier 1 having the highest value.
- Season: The point system also takes into consideration when a car is used. The point value required to reserve a vehicle during the summer months is greater than during winter.
- Day of the Week: Likewise, weekends attract a higher point value than weekdays. Thus, a Tuesday through Thursday in the winter would only require about one-third as many points as a three-day summer weekend.
